In 2008 French Creative participated a 4 way credentials pitch and was chosen to develop the Alton College rebrand. The original brief was to create a very different and dynamic identity from the College's competitors. The original design of the logo and website had been done in-house by the College staff back in the eighties and had suffered over the years from being redrawn and misrepresented. French Creative developed a new design that would appeal to the College's main teenage market using colourful wave imagery and simple strap line. The main logo could, however, be reworked into various sub-brands in the College portfolio where a more corporate image was more suitable. The new branding has been applied to everything from stationery, application forms, clothing and marketing material to vehicles, banners and signage. Alongside the development of the new identity French Creative also redesigned all of the Colleges' marketing material.
